Scoop it up

When my mama feeds me she goes too slow!! I have been trying to think of a faster, more efficient way to get the yummy rice cereal in my tummy. I think I found it! I grabbed the bowl from my mama and began to scoop and slurp the cereal down with my hand! I would attack the bowl like a real little bear cub.

It was much faster, but mama said "no no no Obear Patoski, that is too messy!" so I had to go back to waiting for her to fill the spoon.

DEAD

When my mama says something my papa does not like, he plays dead! Tonight, my papa asked my mama what was for dinner and she said "I don't know" and just like that, my papa was dead. I played too! It was hard for me to be dead with my mama making silly faces at me, but I tried hard! Look how good my papa is!

So big!

I am almost 6 months old and am getting so big. I can really tell because I can do more things. Today I grabbed the spoon from my mama to feed myself! I totally knew how to do it the way my mama does it, but I wanted to make sure that was the best way.

I also got to drink out of my own cup today. I knew right away how to use it, and loved the apple juice that was hiding inside.

3...2...1...Liftoff

Today my papa played a new silly game with me. I would lay on his lap, and he would flip me upside down. I LOVE it so much!!!! I kept laughing and smiling, trying to tell him again, again. I did not even spit up!!

I would brace myselft for lift off.... And then we would head upside down, so high in the sky!

When I came back down to earth from my ride, I was dizzy but happy! Hey, there are so silly toes again! I just love them. They make me smile, and I am glad they are still here to play with me.

Cool Kitten

I just love it when I wake up and the sun is shinning. I love it even more when it is the weekend!! It was so nice and warm today, I had to wear my sunglasses. My mama called me a cool kitten, because I am too little to be a cool cat.

My papa and I waited outside of Starbucko's for my mama.




We even go to go to the outdoor mall in Redmond. I loved it

Dinner Bell

Tonight I got to eat my rice cereal for dinner!! It was so yummy, but so was the bib Auntie Diane bought me. I did find some of the cereal I spit out of my mouth on my bib, which was a nice surprise!!
My mama would say open wide, and I would. I just really love this stuff. It is tasty.
I thought it was a little slow eating it with a spoon, so thought I would try eating it with my hands.

I thought this was a great idea, but mama and papa said "no no Obear! You are making a mess" I said, "what's the big Whoop?" After my dinner I was so tired I took a nap with my mama. I loved it. A lot.

Here comes Peter Cottentail

My papa sings me this song, and I love it. When I scream, I will stop briefly to listen to this nice song. Today, he held me while he sang it and I hopped on the couch "hippty hop hop hop" I loved it so much!

Sunshine on my shoulders

You can never be too ready, so today I tried on my new swimsuit and terry cloth dress. I was getting worried maybe the rice cereal was going to my hips, but after I tried on my suit, I realized I really need a bikini! It is a little big on me now, but by summertime, it will fit perfectly.

I was looking at my nails, I think I might need a manicure....

Anyway, I can't wait for summertime!!

Laundry service

Today my mama and papa put me in my clothes hamper when they were all done in the dryer. They were so warm and cozy. And they smelled so yummy. Then I spit up on them. Oh well, back in the wash they went. I bet everyone wishes they could find me in their clean clothes basket. What a nice surprise to find me in there hiding!

Forever Friends

My mama told me all week that my friend Carmen was coming over for lunch on Saturday, and it was true!! I was so excited that I ended up sleeping in until 9am because I was dreaming about all the fun we would have. Then, I ended up taking my morning nap late, so she was already here when I woke up!

We both sat in our bumboo chairs and talked about our lives, and where we were going. I liked to hold her hand while we visited.

I also liked to hug Carmen. She is a good friend, and I loved having her over. Next time my mama said we can go to her house to play. I hope that is soon!

Check Please

Today when I grew up mama told me I was having a special treat for breakfast. Rice cereal! Mama and papa put my bib on, and fed me like a grown up.

I was not so sure after the first bite...It was pretty tasty, but the spoon is pretty tricky to use compared to my bottle. But I will get used to it. Mama pretended the spoon was a choo-choo train. She is so crazy. I would just open my mouth to humor her. I liked the rice cereal, because it was part of my Korean heritage. My papa also loves rice, and is jealous I get it for breakfast. He wishes he could too.

Mama says tomorrow when I grow up I get to try again, and maybe I will get more in my mouth then on my bib and chin!

Naked bear cub

Tonight my mama and papa told me there was a special surprise for me after my bath. I was so excited I did not have any idea what it could be. I played in the bathtub with my mama like every night. I love eating the bubbles, and love it when my mama sings the songs from my Splish Splash Obear play list.

Then, after 21 minutes of me splashing and licking the washcloth, my papa came in with my surprise. I got a new bath towel! And it is a little bear!! It was nice and warm when papa wrapped me up in it from being in the washer. I love it when my mama and papa give me my massage. My mama uses 4 different kinds of lotion and I get to listen to my care bear music box my papa gave me. Then I go to sleep in the storm. I love it.

I love Teddy

This is a picture I wanted to share because I wanted everyone to see how much I love my little bear cub Teddy. (yes Butterscotch and Fudge I still love you, but you are just too big for me right now) Teddy goes with me everywhere. When I am tired, I just pet his head and he puts me to sleep. I love my Opa for giving him to me on my 5 month birthday.

Going on a bear hunt

Look no further! Here I am!! Look at my cute new hat! I just love it so much. Now I really am a bear cub! It keeps me warm, which is good, because even though it is April, it is still very cold. In fact, they say it might snow this weekend. That makes me smile because then we can just be cozy inside!

I like to close my eyes and just picture the weekend! I love it so much.
